I’m passionate about the race for Governor and wanted to share a little about why I decided to vote for Brian Bogen, the Nonpartisan candidate. 

I think we need to take a different approach than the usual Republican or Democratic choices and look at a Nonpartisan business leader who has run large organizations and will make decisions in the best interests of all Washingtonians – not a political party.

Brian is the only candidate in the race with experience managing nearly 1,000 employees and billion-dollar budgets. He has also been an elected city councilmember and understands the impact state mandates and policies can have on our local communities.

If you’re like me and tired of the divisive partisanship in our politics today, I encourage you to consider voting for a proven leader who can bring people together behind solutions that make real progress for all of us.

There are two main messages that voters care about:

• Brian is the only candidate with the experience to run something as large as state government. He has managed organizations with nearly 1,000 employees and billion-dollar bugets and understands how to bring people with diverse opinions together to get things done.
• Brian is Nonpartisan. Political parties aren’t helping him get elected and he won’t owe them anything nor be bound to a rigid party platform. We need a Governor who will have the backs of all Washingtonians and make sure the legislature is passing solutions that make real progress not just advance a political agenda.
